May: Through the Looking Glass- A Return to Wholeness

Intro to the Month
May is the mirror. And what the mirror is asking of you this month is not perfection—it is forgiveness. Not as permission, not as agreement, but as release. It is asking you to truly SEE….and take full accountability for what is being reflected back to you.

Getting Our Bearings
If April was our attunement, our activation, our initiation into divine truth and unification with self, then May brings us into reflection.
April did not ease us in. It revealed.
It brought you into contact with truth in a way that was difficult to ignore—through your experiences, your reactions, your relationships, your own internal landscape. It showed you where you have been operating from an identity shaped by your environment, your experiences, and fear, rather than from the deepest place within you.
This is a process of unteaching as much as it is learning.
And now, everything you faced, everything you learned, everything that revealed itself is being placed back in front of you. Not to overwhelm you, but so you can actually see it. Because what April revealed, May asks you to resolve. And the gateway to that resolution is forgiveness—the challenge and the medicine in the same breath. Without it, what was revealed stays open. With it, the cycle closes.

Forecast
May carries a different rhythm. Not less intensity—but more space. Where April moved fast, May gives you room. Room to observe, room to process, room to begin embodying what unification with self actually looks like.Because this month moves through relationship. And our relationships are the most productive and thorough classrooms that we could ask for in this life.
They mirror back to us the places where we are still divided.
So this is not just about relationships with people—it is your relationship with everything: your body, your work, your time, your desires, your purpose, your life.
At the center of all of this is Sacred Union—the coming together of what has been separated. The masculine and the feminine, the mind and the heart, the body and the spirit.
We are not meant to remain in the awareness of our duality. We are meant to unify it. Because when we stay divided within ourselves, we experience that same division everywhere else.
This is why May’s job is Reflection. A mirror that takes us beyond the intellectual. Where we are now requires “sight”, and inner sight must be felt. Where we go from here is not a journey that we can “think” our way through.
It shows you where you are withholding, where you are overextending, and where you are expecting something outside of you to complete something within you. And this is where the deeper layer begins to surface—the wound around desire, the wound around pleasure, the places where your natural impulse toward joy, toward creation, toward expression was interrupted, redirected, suppressed, or made conditional.
And yet that impulse never left you. It is the Divine Urge. It is God within you. And when that process is interrupted, it does not disappear—it distorts. It becomes illness, suppression, overindulgence, and seeking outside of yourself for something that can only be generated within.
This is where forgiveness enters—not as something separate from the work, but as the function that completes it.
Because the places where desire was interrupted, where pleasure was made conditional, where love became something to earn—those are the places we continue to carry.
Forgiveness is how we clear that weight. Not by denying what happened, but by releasing the hold it still has within us. It is the point where the cycle of separation can actually end, where the unfinished becomes complete, and where energy that has been bound can move again.

Waypoint for the Month
When something is reflected back to us, the instinct is to look outward—to fix, explain, or change what is in front of us. But this is not the moment for that. This is the moment to recognize that what you are experiencing is not separate from you. Your life is reflecting YOU. Your relationships are reflecting YOU.
So the question becomes: Where am I still divided within myself? Where am I expecting something outside of me to create a sense of wholeness? Where am I still projecting blame? Where am I withholding love from myself?
Because Sacred Union does not begin outside of you. It begins within you—in your relationship with yourself and your relationship with God. And those are not separate.
How you experience yourself is how you experience God.
How you divide yourself is how you experience separation.
And this is where forgiveness becomes necessary. Because you cannot come into union with yourself while still holding yourself—or anyone else—in debt.
Forgiveness is the act of clearing that debt.
It is where you release the expectation that something in the past should have been different, so that you can meet what is present without resistance.
This is not about letting anyone off the hook. It is about unbinding yourself from what has held you back.

Waypoint for the Week
This week’s supporting card is the 2 of Water (Two of Cups)—bringing the focus of Sacred Union into immediate practice through relationship.Of everything this month is asking of you, this is step one:
- Notice where you are giving to be valued
- Notice where you are resisting receiving
- Notice where you are expecting someone else to complete something within you
Within the tension of the relationship is where you will discover “the wound”. The desire to love and be loved, to see and be seen, to openly give and receive…all of these are possible!
Stop keeping score. Clear all debts through forgiveness. Don’t give up on the people you love, and don’t give up on yourself.
Disarm defenses. No fixing. No forcing.
Just see….and acknowledge.
Because the moment you can see the pattern…you are no longer held by it in the same way.
True healing can begin….within YOU and within your relationships.

Closing
Nothing about this month is asking you to become someone new.
It is asking you to see where you have been living in separation and to begin bringing those parts back into union.
Not through understanding, but through how you live, through what you release, and through what you are willing to forgive.
Because forgiveness is not separate from this work—it is the moment the work completes itself.
