august: A strange and Beautiful new era

August's Themes:

• The Shock of the New- What we have been working toward is finally here, yet its appearance is anything but familiar. We must be willing to make space for what we don't recognize, no matter how strange and uncomfortable it may seem. You are becoming the most Sacred and True version of yourself, and compassion is the most vital "re-parenting" tool you can have for yourself right now. Let yourself shine, in the most unapologetically bizarre way possible!
• Diving for Light- The highest of heights require the deepest of depths. This is balance. Equal measure of energy collaborating to establish the firmest of foundations. As we dive into the recesses of our shadows to retrieve our Divine Spark, we may enter our darkest echo chambers. But this isn't unknown territory to us at this point. We have been preparing for this moment for eons. The only Truth, no matter what we face, is that nothing can conquer the Light of our Heart. It might be A LOT, but it is not more than you can handle.  
• Release the Old Notions of Life and Self- Old paradigms of success, productivity, worth and work have no bearing in the New. We are learning new definitions of ease and surrender. We are releasing old ideas of Time itself! Striving doesn't equal hard work. Ease doesn't equal the absence of challenge. Have compassion for your humanness, and try on this new skin. Perfection is not the goal and there is no finish line. One step at a time, one day at a time.
• Focus on Becoming- Our focus, or "filter", this month must be one of openness. Assume nothing. Expect the unfamiliar. Look for Miracles, and you will find them. We cannot avoid fear, it is part of being human. Our Ego will only offer evidence of past failures to try to keep you safe from what it doesn't understand or recognize. But if we try to apply the old, then we are apt to reject the new that is presenting itself. To fully allow the opportunities being offered to us, we must hold ourselves gently through this season and examine where we are and what we need at any given moment. This new territory will be laden with what seems impossible to the old mental constructs. We can't be expected to know anything about what we have never experienced....but that doesn't mean it is impossible. It just requires us to take a new approach and be willing to participate in the unfolding with an open mind and an open heart.
• Open Yourself to Child-like Wonder and Challenge the Traditional- Whatever path we have chosen to live within, whether it be the confines of the conventional and traditional OR the total rebellion of anything of the like, we are being asked to try the other way. No matter what end you find yourself on, we must all make our way to the Middle. The Middle Way is the answer for all of us. It is where our personal will is surrendered to the Will of the Divine. Where Obedience to the Call becomes the only rule we follow. This doesn't mean we stop doing....it just means we stop participating in the act of doing according to the World or our own agenda. It means that the space we used to fill with our own criteria, our own plan, our own striving......is now open to be filled with our Divine plan. As we create the structure we need to fortify ourselves for the Dive into the Light, and we liberate our Divine Spark from its subterranean tomb, we will also gain access to the Blueprint that has everything we need to go where we are meant to go
